Student Self-Identification PINs

Students can now create a four-digit PIN in FERPA Manager that University offices can use to verify their identity when they contact the office by phone or from a personal email account.

What to Expect

FERPA Manager will prompt users to create a four-digit PIN

When a user next logs into FERPA Manager, the system will require them to designate a four-digit self-verification PIN before proceeding.

The PIN provides an optional layer of identity protection and allows University offices to verify a user’s identity when they contact an office by phone or from a personal email account about FERPA-protected student information.
